The Constitution established a federal government to "Provide for the Common Defense", not to provide global policemen for the United Nations. Protecting our Country is one of the foundational functions of our Government, yet terrorism is on the increase.
Crippling cuts to our nation's military hurt our ability to retain the technological dominance we have had over our nation's enemies in the past. Cynthia Davis will support the research and development of new weapon systems and better strategies that will focus on protecting our own Country, not sending more of our military resources to other countries.
We must also end our reliance on component parts of military hardware that are produced overseas. 100% of the material needed for America's military should be manufactured in the United States.
Davis also believes that radical Islam is the single biggest threat to our national security. The President has shown a lack of will to identify and stand up to this growing menace. We must also remember that Israel is our staunchest ally in the Middle-East and stand by our friends.
Our United States Military should not be used as a sociology experiment. Davis will work to restore honor to our military and our chaplains.
